Today we pray for our church. As members of one body, it is important for us to keep each other in prayer, and it is important for us to encourage one another. In 1 Corinthians 12v12-27, Paul compares the body of Christ to our physical bodies. Though our bodies have many parts, it is a unit that needs to work together in order for optimum function, for if one part suffers every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it (v26)As we are each part of the body of Christ (v27), no one is unimportant, and we need to keep each other in prayer. Take some time today to pray for our church.
